St. Benedict Teaching Lectio Divina - Icon Reproduction

This icon depicts St. Benedict doing lectio divina with the gospel. He brings fingers to his lips thoughtfully, but also in the form of a Greek blessing with the fingers spelling out the abbreviated letters for Jesus Christ. Benedict is “chewing” on the Word of God in lectio divina.
